Professional Biographical Summary
Mr. Bosanac is VP of Engineering for SmartWave Technologies. At SmartWave Technologies Mr. Bosanac leads the development of feature rich solutions in the fields of computer networking, wireless and systems deployment. Prior to SmartWave Technologies, Mr. Bosanac was the Sr. Director of Technology for WFI Enterprise Network Solutions. At WFI, Mr. Bosanac primary focus was network convergences. Mr. Bosanac lead the development of solutions for several large Metro area Wi-Fi deployments. Prior to WFI, Mr. Bosanac co-founded a local Internet Service Provider CONNECTnet in 1995, which was sold to Allegiance Telecom (ALGX). In 1997, Mr. Bosanac joined AT&T, where he designed and managed the build out of the first three AT&T Web Hosting Data Centers. In 1998 Mr. Bosanac managed, designed and administrated from conception to deployment of Digital Subscriber Line (DSL) services in 27 cities across the US for AT&T WorldNet. In 2001, Mr. Bosanac founded netVmg, a network route optimization hardware company with funding from Accel Partners. netVmg was sold to InterNAP in July, 2003. Mr. Bosanac was lead engineer and manager in the build out of several large scale production server clusters using various UNIX platforms, MySQL, Oracle, Network Appliances, EMC, VERITAS, DCE/DFS and other enterprise applications. Mr. Bosanac's networking background includes extensive work with large scale networks using both wire and wireless technologies. Mr. Bosanac is a currently member of the American Radio Relay League (ARRL), Internet Society (ISOC) and IEEE.
